A life/writing update
because it's been too long
In the past nine months, we’ve completed one year of preschool, graduated from a roller to a crawler to pulling up to stand, started potty training, and continued to write because I might go crazy if I didn’t.
Last I left off, I was prepping for a rewrite of The Royal Gardener. That draft 3-slash-4 is complete with beta readers and I’m currently querying agents. Which is daunting to say the least. I’ve already gotten one declination, but I know The Royal Gardener is special, and all it takes is one agent to like it.
But that doesn’t mean I quit writing. The very opposite. I keep writing. I’ve taken my epic fantasy trilogy and am working on a complete plot and character rehaul. Space Tir Na Nog is on hold right now until I hit the sci-fi mood again. I’ve discovered that I enjoy writing fantasy much more than hardcore science fiction.
So…I keep writing about gryphons and wyverns, magical destinies, and good striving over evil and hope that one day my stories will see the printed page, God willing.
Until next time…
Keep writing,
Tori

How exciting that you are now sending your work out to agents. Will be praying for the right agent in God's timing. Excited to one day own a copy ;).
Wow! What a year! You’re amazing in your writing discipline to accomplish so much while caring for two littles. You’re an inspiration. Looking forward to reading Royal Gardeners in print. It’ll happen.
